If you are anything like me, clothes and accessories are a huge part of my life. Its not that I spend a TON of time shopping for them…(okay, maybe I do at times..) I just really appreciate all of the unique styles within our world, which makes me want to incorporate them into my own wardrobe. There is something so satisfying about finding different pieces to add to your wardrobe; whether its a delicate, soft vintage tank top, rustic and already-worn jeans from a thrift shop, a new sparkly necklace and unique stacks of rings to match, or a huge chunky leather coat — there is always enjoyment that follows. I look forward to waking up in the morning a few minutes early so that I have time to open my eyes and search through my closet for a perfect combination. It’s a huge part of my day, even if it only takes a few minutes.
Aside from my love for finding unique clothing and accessories to wear, I also have a love for incorporating my passion for style into the world around me, specifically in my house. To me, it makes perfect sense –you find great pieces to add to your wardrobe, which help to better express your mood for the day all while enhancing your personality and personal interests. Since I enjoy expressing my interests with people that I meet, adding my personal style to the world around aside from my wardrobe is something that comes naturally to me. However, even for someone who finds an immense amount of enjoyment in doing this, it sometimes can be quite the challenge. Its not like you can just buy a pair of jeans and drape them over your couch or lay jewelry all over the place and call it a day (well…some days you can). It takes time to find the perfect elements and materials to add to your space. If you are aware of your own fashion sense, this may be an easier task to tackle.
I had the privilege of writing another piece for The Fashion Supernova called “How to Style Your Home According to Your Fashion Sense.” You can check out my tips and tricks for perfectly styling your own space according to your own style, no matter what styles you may be into. Enjoy!
