Things I Am Already “Fall”ing in Love With

I love fall. There are hallmarks of the season that get me excited for the season every year — pumpkin spice, I’m looking at you. However, there are always new autumnal joys to be discovered, too, and this go-round is no different. I’ve already found a dozen things that I’m “fall”-ing in love with right now — and here they are:

Marrying Boho and Minimalist Styles — I Do

I’ve always been conflicted: half of me loves the easiness and color that comes with a bohemian design scheme, but the other half of me lives for crisp, clean white interiors. This season’s design trends have answered my prayers, because the rise of the bohemian minimalist style is upon us. BRB, currently re-decorating my entire house.

Making Gains With Grains

The last thing I ever want to hear are the benefits of a no-carb diet — life, my friends, is about balance. I think I’ve found the perfect middle ground in my current obsession with healthy grain bowls, chock full of healthy carbs, veggies and hearty protein that’s perfect for chilly fall evenings. Each one I’ve tried so far has satisfied my cravings for carbs and tasted ah-ma-zing.

Bling-ing the Halls

I have never seen anything quite as adorbs as these crystal corners, which are like little pieces of jewelry for your walls. All you have to do is hang them in the corners of doorways, windows or porch support beams outside of your home and watch how they catch the sunlight.

Heating Up My House

And I don’t mean by turning on my radiator: this article explained how I can make my house look and feel warmer with just a few interior design swaps. I will admit that the example apartment is way swankier than my digs, but it’s still inspirational nonetheless.

Snapping the Sweet Stuff

It’s no secret that the world is absolutely chaotic right now. From the devastating weather to battling politicians, headlines are crammed with bad news. This photographer sought to capture images of people around the world doing good, and it’s something we can all appreciate… now, pass me a box of tissues while I look at them again.

Stressing Less, Eating More

Sometimes, I get so distraught trying to figure out what to cook for dinner that I end up eating nothing but a smorgasbord of snacks I have lying around the house. This simple recipe proved to me that adulting doesn’t have to be all that hard and I can retire microwave popcorn from my weekly dinner rotation once and for all. *Insert praise hands emoji here*

Thriving > Surviving

Sometimes, you need to just need to hear good advice — you may not even know how badly you need to press the reset button. That was me until I read this gem, which lets us in on the secret to crushing it in all aspects of life. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot easier than it sounds.

Pumpkin-ing My Smoothies

It’s about time we made “pumpkin” a verb, since we use it for everything this time of year. I found this list of pumpkin-infused smoothie recipes and I am in. love. As someone who typically starts her day with a blended bev, I am so happy I can now incorporate pumpkin into that ritual.

Trending (Design) Topics

I know I keep bringing up design trends, but, seriously?! I feel like the trends this fall are speaking to my soul. This article highlights 15 of the soon-to-be hottest fall design trends, and I am here for every single one of them.

(Pumpkin) Spicing Up My Beauty Routine

The versatile pumpkin: it tastes just as good as it feels on our skin, believe it or not. These five beauty products are all proof of the superhero-like powers of pumpkin. I plan to fill my makeup bag with all five, plus as many other fall-themed products as possible because… why not?

Moon-Gazing

Move over, Solar Eclipse of 2017: it’s time for everyone to learn how the moon is going to affect our moods this fall. I must admit, I am a sucker for a good horoscope, and I will ask every guy I date when his birthday is to see if our signs are compatible. In other words, this piece was right up my alley.

Dying For Dyeing

I obviously had to end this list on a pumpkin-y note. If you’re thinking of dyeing your hair this fall, look no further than everyone’s favorite gourd for your color inspo. Seriously, take a look at all 15 examples of how people used pumpkins to inspire their hair color and tell me you’re not ready to go full jack-o-lantern ASAP.

What are you loving this fall? Please share in the comments below so I can add to my list, too!
